This fascinating landscape was formed by millions of years of geological movement, ice ages and the erosive effects of the sun, wind, rain and ice.

The site contains a multitude of strange and weird rock formations, here amongst others can be found a dancing bear, a sphinx and a blacksmith’s arrow.

The rocks are in an area of outstanding natural beauty and the walk to the top at a height of nearly 300m gives breathtaking views of the scenery and wildlife.Brimham Rocks the Bear

Visit the rocks in any season as there is always something different to see, the striking Bog Asphodel flowering in June, the bilberries ready for picking in August and the beautiful heather in September.

There is a free exhibition in Brimham house of geological and social history, a shop for quality gifts plus a kiosk for refreshments.
